Key Aspects:
- Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber will debut three new productions around country, rock, and Latin music.
- The new productions will be the largest onboard lineup for the cruise line.
- Launching in January 2027, guests will see shows enhanced with staging, technical effects, and immersive experiences.
A country music festival, a rock band’s rise to fame, and a Latin-inspired nightclub are all headed to sea aboard Margaritaville at Sea’s newest ship.
Beachcomber isn’t set to debut until January 2027, but the cruise line is already giving future guests a preview of what they’ll find after the sun goes down.
Margaritaville at Sea unveiled three original production shows on June 17, 2026, that will headline the vessel’s entertainment lineup. They range from country sing-alongs and classic rock anthems to a late-night Latin-inspired experience.
The new productions, “Friday Night Country,” “Red, White & Margaritaville,” and “Club Fuego,” were developed exclusively for Beachcomber and will be performed multiple times during each sailing. The trio of productions will be the most expansive entertainment program in the company’s history, says the cruise line.
“Live music and original entertainment have always been central to the Margaritaville at Sea experience and are one of the ways we create a vacation unlike any other,” said Karen Maybury, vice president of entertainment.
She says the all-new productions capture the “energy, escapism, and sense of fun” that defines the Margaritaville brand.
Friday Night Country is designed to recreate the atmosphere of a live outdoor concert, pairing contemporary country hits with audience participation, choreography, and specialty acts, including acrobatics.
For guests who prefer electric guitars to cowboy boots, Red, White & Margaritaville follows a small-town band chasing a big break through a soundtrack of classic American rock songs.
The production will feature live performances, illusion elements, and what the cruise line describes as its largest-scale theatrical staging of the three shows.

Meanwhile, Club Fuego will bring a different energy to the lineup. Inspired by the nightlife of Miami, Puerto Rico, and Havana, the production blends dance, vocals, and contemporary Latin hits in a club-style setting.

The show will be offered in both a family-friendly version and a separate adults-only late-night edition that segues into a nightclub experience.
The announcement is one of the first detailed looks at onboard entertainment aboard the more than 100,000-gross-ton Beachcomber, which is expected to become the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet.
Margaritaville’s Growth
While the new entertainment lineup offers a glimpse of what travelers can expect onboard, work is also underway to transform Beachcomber ahead of its January 2027 launch.
The vessel joined the Margaritaville at Sea fleet earlier this year after being acquired from Costa Cruises, where it previously sailed as Costa Fortuna. Built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and entering service in 2003, the ship will undergo a major refurbishment before returning to service under its new name.
The extensive renovation will introduce Margaritaville-themed venues, updated public spaces, new dining concepts, and entertainment areas designed specifically for the brand. The overhaul is one of the largest projects by the cruise line since its launch in 2022.
Once complete, Beachcomber will become the third ship in the fleet, joining Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and Margaritaville at Sea Islander.
Beachcomber is scheduled to debut from PortMiami and will sail 7- to 10-night itineraries throughout the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, a significant expansion beyond the shorter voyages currently offered by the line.
