Key Aspects:
- Carnival Cruise Line has moved up sailaway times for another 70 sailings across two ships for cruises in late 2026 and into 2027.
- The impacted ships are Carnival Pride sailing from Baltimore, Maryland and Carnival Adventure sailing from Sydney, Australia.
- A total of 316 sailings now have confirmed earlier sailaway times, with six ships impacted, from five different homeports.
Emails are continuing to go out to guests booked on different ships in the Carnival fleet, alerting them to earlier departure times. In the most recent emails obtained by Cruise Hive and shared on social media, a total of 70 sailings are impacted aboard two ships: Carnival Pride and Carnival Adventure.
Carnival Pride Earlier Sailaways
The 2,134-guest Carnival Pride is sailing from Baltimore, Maryland and will now be departing from Charm City at 4 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. for 47 upcoming sailings.
Earlier sailaway times begin for the ship’s December 6, 2026 departure, a 7-night Bahamas itinerary with visits to RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay; Nassau; and Celebration Key. All of Carnival Pride‘s December 2026 departures show the same departure time change.
In 2027, all the ship’s departures from January 3 through and including November 21 will likewise leave Baltimore at 4 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than the original schedule.
Only two cruises in that 2027 window are exempt from the adjusted sailaway times: the January 10, 2027 and October 31, 2027 departures will still leave Baltimore at 4:30 p.m.
Those two cruises are longer Carnival Journeys sailings. The January 10 itinerary is a 14-night Eastern Caribbean voyage with calls to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Dominica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, and Tortola. The October 31 sailing is also a 14-night cruise, but includes both Eastern and Southern Caribbean ports with stops in St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk.
Carnival Adventure Earlier Sailaways
Sailing Down Under with a diverse range of itineraries from Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, the 2,636-guest Carnival Adventure will also be departing earlier on a total of 23 upcoming cruises that will now set sail at 3 p.m. rather than 3:30 p.m.
All of the impacted departures are from Sydney, but the adjustment does not apply to every Carnival Adventure cruise from Sydney. Booked guests will want to confirm if their upcoming cruise is leaving early.

The first departure date now sailing 30 minutes earlier is the ship’s December 4, 2026 departure. Also in 2026, the cruises leaving Sydney on December 7 and December 27 will set sail at the earlier time.
In 2027, the following Carnival Adventure departure dates have moved up the sailaway time:
- January 19, 23
- May 8, 10, 14, 21
- August 2, 6, 9, 13, 21, 24
- September 2, 19, 23
- October 2, 10, 14
- November 12, 25
For both Carnival Pride and Carnival Adventure, guests need to be aware of the earlier sailaway times and how they may impact their embarkation day, particularly if they plan to arrive at the cruise terminal later in the afternoon.
“In preparation for departure, all guests must be on board no later than the final boarding time specified on the boarding pass (when available),” the notifications said.
Apart from the earlier sailaway for the specified voyages, there are no other itinerary changes to routes, ports of call, times in port, or the return to each ship’s homeport at this time.
How Many Changes Have Been Made?
Carnival Cruise Line has now moved up the departure times in late 2026 and 2027 for six ships sailing from five homeports on two continents, all in just a few days. In total, 316 cruises now have earlier sailaway times.
- Carnival Elation from Jacksonville, Florida – 77 sailings
- Carnival Glory from Port Canaveral, Florida – 76 sailings
- Carnival Liberty from New Orleans, Louisiana – 47 sailings
- Carnival Pride from Baltimore, Maryland – 47 sailings
- Carnival Adventure from Sydney, Australia – 23 sailings
- Carnival Splendor from Sydney, Australia – 46 sailings
It is possible more ships may have similar adjustments and additional notices could be sent out in the coming days. Fortunately, Carnival is providing guests with at least a few days’ notice before the first impacted sailings, and a 30-minute change is not so drastic that travel plans would be significantly impacted.
