As an avid cruiser, I’m always looking for ways to make my money go further when I book my future sailings.
One thing I really love about Cruise Hive’s new cruise booking feature is that I’ve spotted sailings listed for sometimes hundreds of dollars less than if I booked the same exact voyage directly with the cruise line.
But thanks to an exclusive new gift card promotion launching on Monday, August 11, 2025, prospective passengers can now save even more money when they book with Cruise Hive.
Visa gift cards of up to $1,500 will be given out on a per cabin basis, with the final value dependent on the length of the voyage.
Sailings that last between 3 to 5 days are eligible for up to $500, cruises that last from 5 to 11 days can receive up to $1,000, and cruises that are 12 days or longer may be eligible for the full $1,500 total.
The promo is also quite far-reaching, and applies to more than a dozen mainstream brands, such as the family-friendly Disney Cruise Line, the adults-only Virgin Voyages, and the highly luxurious Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Making this deal an even better value for your money, the gift card promotion can be applied with other perks that the cruise lines routinely offer, such as onboard credits, an unlimited open bar, and/or a free Wi-Fi package.
How to Apply the Promotion
This gift card promotion is exclusive to Cruise Hive, which means you won’t find it with the cruise lines or travel agents.
In order to get started, simply visit the Cruise Hive website and click “Book a Cruise” on the top left corner of the screen on desktop or select “Book a Cruise” from the drop down menu if you are using your mobile device. You can also simply use any of the blue booking widgets you find around the site.
You will then be able to filter your search by your preferred cruise lines, ships, sailing dates, and ports of call.
Cruise Hive: How to Book a Cruise on Cruise Hive and Why You Should
As you peruse different voyages from your computer, keep an eye on the “bonus” column. If the gift card promotion applies, there will be a dollar sign in a blue box.
The same icon will still show up on mobile devices, but it will be next to a line of text and the column won’t specifically be labeled as “bonus.”
You can then click on the icon to open a pop-up, which will explain the terms and conditions of the promotion and the amount of money that can be put on the gift card for that specific sailing.
Once the booking is complete, the bonus will be listed (along with any other applicable perks) on the confirmation page.
Guests will also receive a confirmation email with instructions to redeem the gift card and a link to a redemption form, which must be filled out within 30 days after the cruise disembarks.
Gift card redemption forms will be quickly reviewed and digital Visa gift cards will be emailed to the contact on file within two weeks.
I don’t think I could resist putting my gift card toward yet another cruise vacation, but that is money back in your pocket to use as you’d like!
