A young girl has fallen at least 2 decks onboard a cruise ship in Port Miami, Florida.

A young 8-year-oldĀ girl fell 2 decks on Saturday morning onboard the Carnival Glory cruise ship. According to Local news in Miami, the vessel had just arrived and docked in Port Miami and as passengers were disembarking the ship the young girl fell from a deck in the main central atrium.

The young girl has sadly died from her critical injuries which is just so sad to hear. She was initially taken to a local hospital in Miami, Florida for urgent medical attention.

Today in Miami there are five cruise ships docked including Carnival Glory, Carnival Sensation, Carnival Vista, MSC Divina and Norwegian Escape.

Carnival Glory had just come to the end of a 7-night Western Caribbean sailing and is scheduled to depart the port on Saturday for another week-long cruise. The ship can carry 2,980 passengers at 110,000 gross tons.
