Passengers have the chance to tour an under construction ship which will be joining the fleet in 2019.

Saga Cruises which is a UK-based cruise line is having a shore excursion where guests can have a sneak peak at the upcoming Spirit of Discovery cruise ship. Guests on board the Saga Sapphire can have a chance to check out the future ship at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

The exclusive tour will take place during Easter 2018 on a 6-day Saga Saphire itinerary. The itinerary departing March 28, 2018, from Southampton, will include calls in Falmouth, on the Cornish coast, and St Peter Port, in Guernsey. When the ship calls in Bremen guests will be able to see the new generation ship being built inside the construction hall.

Spirit of Discovery will be the first newly ordered ship for the cruise line and will be 55,900 gross tons. once in service in Summer 2019 the ship will carry just under 1,000 passengers and will be the most advanced in the fleet.
