British based cruise line Thomson Cruises is deploying the Thomson Celebration to home port in Dubai from 2016/17.
The Thomson Celebration will home port in Dubai for the very first time and cruises will begin in December 2016. Dubai has become very a very popular tourist destination and the cruise line which caters to the British market will help showcase the destination even further.

With the average Brit visiting more than 14 foreign countries in their lifetime*, we can’t wait for everyone to discover Arabia, from the glamour and opulence of Dubai and Abu Dhabi to the ancient heritage sites in Oman.”
The two seven night itineraries from Dubai will include calls at Abu Dhabi, Manama (Bahrain), Doha (Qatar), Khor Fakkan (UAE), Muscat and Khasab (Oman). Thomson will also provide flights from a range of UK airports as part of the cruise package. The cruise line will also offer some great shore excursions including a tour to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai which is the world’s tallest building.
The Arabian Nights itinerary will sail from Dubai, calling at Khasab, Muscat, Doha and Abu Dhabi. The Cities of Gold itinerary will sail from Dubai, calling at Khor Fakkan, Muscat, Manama and Abu Dhabi. The cruises will go on sale from December 2015. Who’s excited? We are!
