The Best Wi-Fi at Sea Coming to More Princess Cruise Ships

The Superfast Wi-Fi which is part of Princess Cruises’ MedallionNet will be rolling out across more ships in the fleet in 2020.

Six More Princess Cruise Ships to Get Fast Internet

Six more Princess cruise ships will be receiving fast, affordable, reliable and unlimited Internet service throughout 2020. Including the new Enchantment Princess which will debut June 2020.

Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises president, said:

“We continue our commitment to offer the best Internet at sea with the expansion of MedallionNet across the fleet.”

“Reliable connectivity allows each guest to choose how they want to use the Internet – that could mean staying connected continuously to message friends and family, share their amazing vacation experience, or jumping on and off for personal or professional needs and then promptly returning to vacation mode.”

The MedallionNet can already be used on Caribbean Princess, Regal Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess, Coral Princess, island princess, Crown Princess, and Emerald Princess. The new Sky Princess which debuts in 2019 will be MedallionNet-ready for European sailings from October 12.

Here is the full list of all those cruise ships which will get the best Wi-Fi at sea in 2020. Also, Enchanted Princess which is a new cruise ship will debut with the new tech.

  • Diamond Princess (March 15)
  • Majestic Princess (April 18)
  • Star Princess (June 12)
  • Enchanted Princess (June 15)
  • Sapphire Princess (July 27)

The MedallionNet fast internet is part of OceanMedallion has slowly been rolling out across the fleet. It includes a new tech experience for guests in many aspects of the voyage sich as keyless stateroom entry, pre-cruise services, on-demand services, interactive gameplay, direct ship information and a lot more.
