Royal Caribbean has released a new video of Spectrum of the Seas while under construction at the shipyard. We get to see how far the ship has come and some impressive footage of the ship.
Spectrum of the Seas Under Construction
We can see just how far the construction of Spectrum of the Seas has come in a new video released from Royal Caribbean. The upcoming ship is being built at the popular Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. She will be the first in the Quantum-Ultra class which is an evolution of the current Quantum-class ships.

The video shows the construction process of the vessel in the Meyer Werft hall. Large mega blocks are coming together to make the ship as one.
The ship is set to be completed in April 2019 and will have a passenger capacity of 4,246 at double occupancy. As usual, when it comes to Royal Caribbean expect to see some new innovative features and experiences.
We already know Spectrum of the Seas is going to be based in China and to get there the ship will sail a 51-night Global Odyssey from Barcelona, Spain. The cruise line will be releasing further details as we get closer to the delivery.
