Carnival Cruise Line in Italy has given us a sneak peek at the upcoming Carnival Horizon. The ship will be the second Vista class coming in 2018.
We must say thank you to Carnival Italy, they have been posting the latest images and even a video of the Carnival Horizon. As you can see from this post the ship is coming along nicely but is looking bare as expected. There are lots of materials being stored where usually the lido deck pool is but don’t worry they’ll be moving it before the ship sets sail!
Watch Video Below:
Carnival Horizon is currently under construction at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Italy. The vessel still has some major construction milestones to hit including its first float out onto the water and the beginning of the fitting out phase. It is all set to be completed in March 2018 when the Carnival Horizon will be delivered to the cruise line.
The ship will be 133,500 gross tons and carry 3,936 passengers at double occupancy. Just like Carnival Vista, it will feature the popular SkyRide and an IMAS theater, two industry firsts at sea. We last reported on Carnival Horizon in September 2016 and the ship looked very different then.
