Royal Caribbean Unveils New Details On Symphony of the Seas Cruise Ship

Royal Caribbean has unveiled new features and experiences for its next cruise ship Symphony of the Seas.

The cruise line is wowing us all today with details on new features and experiences on Symphony of the Seas, soon to be the world’s biggest cruise ship. The ship will have a reimagined boardwalk neighborhood, new Ultimate Family Suite,ย new food and beverage concepts and new entertainment shows. The cruise will also introduce a new mobile check-in process on Symphony of the Seas, That’s a whole lot of “new!”

Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International, said:

The New Features and Experiences on Symphony of the Seas

Reimagined Boardwalk

This neighborhood will be infused with new public spaces along with new experiences and features to keep guests entertained all the time.

Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade

A new space which willย Span the entire length of the Boardwalk and will become a hot spot for all things sport where guest can watch games and more onย 30 big-screen TVs. Your usual craft beer and burgers will also be available as expected. An arcade with some classic favorites including Pac Man will be just across the way.

Sugar Beach

Suger Beach will be a new space on the Boardwalk where cruisers can enjoyย candy and ice-cream along with plenty of toppings. Activities will also be held for those wanting to experience more.

The Ultimate Family Suite

Symphony of the Seas will introduce the first 1,346 square-foot Ultimate Family Suite, which will include an exclusive slide from the kidโ€™s only bedroom to the living room below, a floor-to-ceiling LEGO wall, an air-hockey table, and hidden nooks for chilling. The adventurous suite will also feature A separate 3D movie theater-style TV room, a 212-square-foot wraparound balcony, a pool table, a climbing experience, and a full-size whirlpool.

Hooked Seafood

Royal Caribbeanโ€™s first New England-style seafood restaurant will feature fresh seafood and a robust raw bar complete with oysters shucked to order. The new dining venue will be located at the front of the ship in the Solarium.

El Loco Fresh

The venue will offer mouthwatering made-to-order tacos, burritos and other popular Mexican fare. The open-air restaurant in the Sports Zone will seat more than 100 guests.

New Shows

The Royal Theater will feature a new show called “Flight” which is inspired by theย evolution of air travel. A new showย calledย โ€œHiRoโ€ at the AquaTheaterย offers serious wow factor with high-diving and acrobatics. A new ice Skating show calledย โ€œ1977โ€ will also be held onboard Symphony of the Seas.

About Symphony of the Seas

Symphony of the Seasย will set sail in April 2018 to kick off a summer season in the Mediterranean. Beginning Nov. 24, 2018, the adventure-packed ship will make Miami, FL her year-round home, sailing 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages from the state-of-the-art new Terminal A atย PortMiami.

Symphony of the Seasย will span 16 guest decks, encompass more than 230,000 gross registered tons, carry 5,500 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,774 staterooms.
