New Guest and Crew Health Monitoring Tech Could Come to Major Cruise Lines

Cruise lines are working on implementing new health protocols to resume sailings and there is a new cruise passenger & crew health monitoring system that could be coming to help them out.

Royal Caribbean has made a partnership to offer up to $100 of onboard spending money on sailings to Nassau and CocoCay in the Bahamas.

Onboard Credit Being Offered on Cruises to the Bahamas

The cruise line has partnered with Travel Leaders Group to support travel to the Bahamas. The exclusive offer will be up to $100 in onboard credit on Royal Caribbean sailings that visit Nassau and/or the private island destination of Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Ninan Chacko, CEO of Travel Leaders Group, said:

“Our partners at Royal Caribbean have been absolutely extraordinary in their support for The Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian.”

“At Travel Leaders Group, we are committed to providing aid and fostering travel to The Bahamas, as well. This special offer from Royal Caribbean will help our tens of thousands of travel advisors promote Bahamas cruises to their clients.”

The offer depends on what is booked and reservations must be made October 1-7, 2019 for cruises departing from October 18, 2019, and beyond. Here is what’s available for the onboard credit:

  • Bonus spending money of $100 per stateroom will be offered for suite reservations
  • $50 per stateroom for balcony accommodations
  • $25 per stateroom for interior and ocean view rooms

The exclusive offer will help the Bahamas and hopefully increase bookings to the Bahamas to help recover the economy. Grand Bahama and Abaco islands were devastated in early September by the category 5 Hurricane Dorian. Ever since the deadly storm hit, Royal Caribbean has been providing hurricane relief to help the residents. No doubt the effort will continue to help the islands.

Do note that the offer can only be booked through a travel advisor affiliated with Travel Leaders Network, Nexion Travel Group, Tzell Travel Group, Protravel International and ALTOUR, all units of Travel Leaders Group, the largest retail travel agency organization in North America.
