Royal Caribbean have posted a new video showing how the cruise lines future cruise ship Anthem of the Seas is being built block by block.
The video explains how the huge 168,600 ton vessel is coming together by first being built-in blocks and then those large blocks are moved into the construction yard building. Anthem of the seas is currently being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany which is the same shipyard as sister ship Quantum of the Seas. Both ships are the same class and are one of the most innovative class vessels ever.
We’ve never seen blockcs of a cruise ship look so good before. The way the cruise line has made the video which includes time lapses makes it all look very cool!
Anthem of the seas is expected to be completed by Meyer Werft in April 2015 and will first sail from Southampton, UK. Another sister ship Ovation of the Seas will also be built by Meyer Werft but construction has not yet started.
