Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships Change Itineraries Due to Hurricane Maria

Royal Caribbean cruise ships begin to be impacted by Hurricane Maria which is causing further destruction across the Eastern Caribbean.

Royal Caribbean has changed itineraries for two cruise ships so far due to the threat of Hurricane Maria which is causing further worry and destruction across parts of Eastern Caribbean. Allure of the Seas and Adventure of the Seas have so far been affected by Maria.

Royal Caribbean stated the following:

We are closely monitoring Hurricane Maria’s forecast track, and have modified both Adventure of the Seas and Allure of the Seas current itineraries to keep our guests and crew well out of the path of the storm. Our goal remains to provide notice of any future itinerary changes within a minimum of 48 hours prior to departure.

The cruise line didn’t really go into details with the itineraries but Adventure of the Seas is currently on an altered 7-day cruise out of Purto Rico and Allure of the Seas is on a 7-night Caribbean cruise out of Port Everglades, Florida. We expect further updates from Royal Caribbean in the coming days.
