Royal Caribbean Adds Overnight Sailings To Cuba On Empress of the Seas

Royal Caribbean has announced more sailings will be added for Cuba including overnights.

Empress of the Seas will offer guests an expanded Cuba experience with overnight calls in Havana. The new sailings will be part of Caribbean itineraries from Tampa, Florida. The ship will sail 4 and 5-night cruises with day and overnight visits to Havana, along with stops in Key West, Florida. and Cozumel, Mexico.

The cruise line has already opened up the new sailings which will be available through November 4, 2017. The vessel will begin calling at Cuba from April 2017 thanks to approval from the country which Cruise Hive previously reported on. Empress of the Seas is currently based out of PortMiami and will transfer to Tampa to begin its new deployment.

The ship is the smallest in the fleet at 48,500 gross tons and can carry over 1,800 guests.
