Further details have been revealed about Queen Mary 2’s huge refurbishment in Spring, 2016. In this update Cunard Line has released some renderings of the Grill Suites and Grill Restaurants.
The Cunard flagship will undergo a major 25-day dry dock and will get some major enhancements across the board and some have already been revealed which Cruise Hive previously reported on. To show how important dining is onboard the Queen Mary 2 the British based cruise line is improving the Grill Suites and the Grill Restaurants.
The Grill Suites
These suites will be redesigned and take luxury to new heights. There will be new carpets and new decor that will continue to showcase Cunard’s grand feeling of cruising. The suites will also be given more space and exclusive artwork with and in Cunard’s words, “bespoke architectural motifs that showcase the beauty, history and magnitude of iconic Cunard buildings around the world.”

The Grill Restaurants
The dining venues include The Queens Grill and Princess Grill which will both be upgraded as part of the Queen Mary 2 refurbishment. The layout will be improved along with more tables for a party of 2. The restaurants will also be refreshed with decor and furnishings.

Cunard Line will release more details as we get closer to the ships upgrade which will take place at Blohm & Voss Shipyard in Hamburg, Germany. The ship’s dry dock will be between 27 May and 21 June 2016.
