P&O Aurora to be Adult-Only Cruise Ship

P&O Aurora to become adult-only cruise ship after a major refit in 2019 adding new features not catered for the kids. The British cruise ship will join Arcadia and Orina as adults-only.

P&O Cruises has announced that Aurora will become the third adult-only cruise ship in the fleet after a major refit which takes place in March 2019. The ship will be purpose-built for adults with no features or services for kids.

If you’re fed up of cruising with kids and simply want to relax without constant nagging of your child then P&O Cruises is leading the way with P&O Aurora joining two other cruise ships as adult-only. The British-based vessel will undergo a major refit where experiences and features around adults only will be made.

P&O Cruises senior vice president Paul Ludlow said:

“All our ships have the signature elements of dining, service and great destinations. However, P&O Cruises is all about choice, whether our guests want the fantastic range of activities and children’s clubs on our family-friendly ships or prefer the peace and serenity of our adult-only ships. With Aurora becoming a ship exclusively for adults, we are offering our guests even more choice which means they can choose the holiday experience that is absolutely the right one for them.”

P&O Aurora will start its refit in March 2019 and during this time a variety of bars and lounges will be added for guest to socialize. With no kids, it will free up public spaces where cruisers can take it easy and enjoy. We expect further details about the ship’s refurbishment in the coming months. P&O Aurora joins sister ships Arcadia and Oriana when it completed its upgrade in April 2019.
