Ovation of the Seas Might Be Sailing From China

The Royal Caribbean Blog is reporting that the third Quantum class cruise ship Ovation of the Seas could be sailing out of China.

The upcoming 168,666 gross ton cruise ship is under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany but already cruisers are desperate to find out further details. An official travel agent of Royal Caribbean and its sister cruise lines has posted a document online that suggests Ovation of the Seas will be sailing from China.

The document show dates and regions of vessels according to the cruise lines 2016 schedule. Another vessel which Royal Caribbean has ordered is Harmony of the Seas which is also on the list but we already know Harmony’s deployment from a previous announcement. All the ships sailing from China in 2016 are in one box including Ovation of the Seas and sister ship Quantum of the Seas.

Quantum of the Seas is already scheduled to sail from Shanghai, China from end of April 2015 and Ovation could join her or replace her itinerary once constructed by April 2016. According to the document bookings are set to begin from August.
