Norwegian Sun is going to be offering new itineraries out of Miami, Florida with cruises to Cuba and the Caribbean for a limited time fall 2018. The news was announced today from Norwegian Cruise Line and it’s good news opening up even more options for cruisers wanting to experience Cuba from Florida.
Norwegian Sun Offering Cruises to Cuba and the Caribbean
The Norwegian Cruise Line ship will sail itineraries including calls to Cuba and popular destinations in the Caribbean but these new itineraries will not be running for long. Norwegian Sun will begin the first of six 7-day sailings from PortMiami, Florida on September 9. The ship will depart every Sunday from the port and will include calls in Havana, Cuba, Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas; Costa Maya, Mexico and Harvest Caye, Belize. Norwegian Sun will also sail 9-day cruises to Cuba and the Caribbean and the itineraries will expand on the 7-day sailings with the addition of Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras and Cozumel, Mexico. These new Norwegian Sun cruises will run through October 14, 2018.

Norwegian Sun’s 13-Day Cruise
It gets better for those looking at more options with NCL our of Miami Florida as the ship will sail a much longer 13-day voyage just once departing on October 30, 2018. This is going to be such a great experience with calls in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; Cartagena and Santa Marta, Colombia and Oranjestad, Aruba. This is one of those bucket list cruises where cultures and shore excursions can be enjoyed not just in the Panama Canal and the Caribbean but South American destinations too.
Norwegian Sun Short Cuba and Bahamas Cruise
NCL is mixing up things even further from to end Norwegian Sun’s Port Canaveral deployment with a short 5-day cruise departing on September 3, 2018. The cruise will include visits to Key West in Florida, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and an overnight in Havana in Cuba.

Norwegian Sun Overview
The cruise ship will provide 13 half or full day shore excursions which guest can choose from when it stays in Havana, Cuba. Bookings for these new itineraries are now open from Norwegian Cruise Line. Norwegian Sun is a 78,300 gross ton vessel with a passenger capacity of over 1,900.
