Norwegian Cruise Line Ship Changes Itinerary Due To Hurricane Otto

Norwegian Cruise Line has changed the itinerary of Norwegian Dawn due to Hurricane Otto. The cruise ship is currently sailing an adjusted route as the powerful storm hits parts of the Southern Caribbean.

The ship did not call at Puerto Limon in Costa Rica on Tuesday and instead sailed straight for the next scheduled port of call in Mahogany Bay, Roatan Island. Norwegian Pearl will arrive as scheduled in Roatan on Thursday, November 24. All other ports on the 12-day cruise are set to go ahead as normal. The ship departed Port Miami on November 17 and is expected back on November 28.

Otto will reach the Pacific coast of southern Nicaragua or northern Costa Rica on Friday, November 25.

Norwegian Pearl is a 93,530 gross ton vessel and can carry over 2,300 guests at double occupancy. Cruise Hive will keep readers updated on any new updates.
