Norwegian Cruise Line has extended its “Peace of Mind” policy to provide further confidence in cruise bookings
NCL Cancellation Policy Extended
Norwegian Cruise Line has sent out a letter to guests and travel partners announcing that the Peace of Mind cancellation poly is being extended to continue providing confidence in bookings.
The letter from President and CEO Harry Sommer says “booking with confidence is now more important than ever, so for any existing or new reservation made by July 31, 2020 for any voyage through November 30, 2020, guests are free to cancel anytime up to 48 hours in advance of embarkation.” You can read the full letter below:
The policy allows guests to cancel their booking and receive a Future Cruise Credit which has to be used on sailings that embark through December 31, 2022. Do check the terms and conditions before making your choice as there is also an option outside of the policy for just a regular full refund.
Also mentioned in the letter was that Norwegian Cruise LIne continunes to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and consult with health authoiries including the World health Organisation (WHO) and the U.S Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

NCL has already announced its plans to resume sailings in a phased return starting from July 1, 2020. Until then cruises remain to be on pause through June 30. This includes repatriating crew members back home and putting many vessels in a cold layup. You can read more about the current suspension right here.
