Norwegian Cruise Line Announces New App, Coming in 2018

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a new app which will ease the process of booking all the way to disembarking the ship.

A new app is set to launch from Norwegian Cruise Line which includes a wide range of features, and functions which covers the entire process from booking to disembarking. The new app will keep guests connected and informed and highlights include onboard packages and reservations, check account, online check-in and a lot more.

Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer for Norwegian Cruise Line, said:

“Whether they’re 60 days from their sail date or in the middle of their cruise, the Cruise Norwegian app brings seamless anytime-access to a myriad of onboard offerings, services and activities right into the palms of our guests’ hands.”

“Once on board, the Cruise Norwegian app will allow guests to continue customizing their ideal cruise experience and view or manage their existing account information, allowing them to maximize their time and spend it on the things they enjoy the most.”

App Purchasing

The new Norwegian Cruise App covers many aspects of the booking process. Even if the guest is 60 days from their sail date the App can take care of many things. Before the actual voyage, the new app can make dining reservations, book shore excursions, entertainment reservations and purchase all kinds of packages including the beverage ones.

Before Boarding

The new app doesn’t just cater for the cruise ship but also the port and terminal too. There are guides to help guests get to the terminal and an online check-in feature to make the embarkation process a breeze! No more papers needed to get onboard and enjoy the cruise vacation.

During the Cruise

During the cruise, there are tons of options for guests to take advantage of. With so much happening on the ship, guests can check to see the days events. Reservations for favorite broadway-style shows can be made and shore excursions just like during the booking process.

Friends and family can stay connected on the app during the cruise for a one time fee of $9.95. Included in this groups can organize meetups, share and send messages. For $0.79 per minutes, guests can also use the Norwegian Cruise Line App to call back home to almost any country.

Disembarking the Ship

The Norwegian Cruise Line App offers a way for guests to track all their purchases so they won’t be any nasty surprises at the end. Details on disembarking the cruise ship will be available on the app including immigration and easy walk-off details. Future cruise credit and Latitude Rewards points can also be tracked.

The new app is coming to Norwegian Bliss first when it enters service in the Summer of 2018. The app will be available on all ships by the end of 2018.
