Holland America Line has launched a brand new video series which will countdown the cruise lines upcoming ship, ms Koningsdam.
The new video short video series called “Countdown to Koningsdam” will showcase the new class ship at the shipyard and footage of all the new onboard spaces coming to light. The series is hosted by Jonathan Rogers, Koningsdam’s inaugural cruise director. Shipyard updates will be shared throughout the series along with special interviews and comments from key people within the cruise line.

The ms Koningsdam will feature a new 270-degree LED projection at World Stage. This venue will immerse the audience in panoramic visual and sound effects along with special performances. Entertainment will take center stage with the Music Walk area featuring all genres of music showcased in venues including Lincoln Center Stage. There will be purpose built staterooms for families and single cruisers along with new dining and bar venues.
ms Koningsdam is the first of two Pinnacle class cruise ships ordered by Holland America Line. The 2,650 passenger ship will make its debut in April 2016 and will be 99,500 gross tons making it the largest ever built for the Carnival owned cruise line. The vessel is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy.
