P&O Cruises has released its brand new multi-million pound ad just in time for the new year. The new ad which is very different from the cruise lines previous ones will makes its debut on December 26 which will be boxing day in the UK!

The new ad will be shown across TV, print and online and will be a fresh new advertising campaign for the new year. The ad will end in March on British TV networks ITV and Channel 4.

The slogan used in the ad is “Time For You” which is aimed at the British market. It’s intended to increase bookings for the cruise line which is usually a busy period and is trying to get people to connect with the more personal feeling that the ad brings out. P&O are featuring a family and it shows characters which viewers can relate to you and can get inspired by, well that’s what the cruise line is hoping!

P&O has also started an increase in promotion since December 23rd as it;s traditionally a busy period for the cruise line which is owned by Carnival Cruises. Good news for anyone thinking about booking a P&O cruise as bookings made before February 28, 2014, customers will receive additional free on board spending money on all cruises departing in 2014 and single travellers receive double free on board spending money.
