New features are coming to the Carnival Hub App across the fleet. A new Pizza delivery service is already being tested and there are plans for drink deliveries too.
What’s Coming to Carnival’s Onboard App?
The cruise line is focusing heavily on bringing new features and enhancements to the Carnival Hub App which has proved to be very popular with guests.
Aboard Carnival Horizon and Carnival Vista, a “pizza anywhere” delivery feature is being piloted. The service allows guests to order a freshly made Pizza to them anywhere on the ship. The price for the Pizza is free but a delivery charge of $5 is required. The pilot is working well and expected to roll out across the Carnival fleet in the future.
The delivery service will also be expanded where guests will be able to order food and drinks. You’ll soon see many guests using their Hub App and not having to walk to the bar to get their drinks! No doubt this option will be limited at first with orders only from certain venues.
Carnival Cruise Line will continue to invest not just in tech like the Hub App but also super fast Wi-Fi speeds. With a fleetwide enhancement program soon coming to an end with the Carnival Radiance dry dock in 2020 the cruise line will focus on making sure onboard services and guest experience is the best it can be.
