New Construction Photos of First Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship

Virgin Voyages has released more new photos of the first ship which is currently under construction at the Fincantieri Genoa shipyard in Italy. The excitement continues to build with the cruise line which is set to change the industry and bring a fresh take on cruising.

The blocks are coming together and we’re now starting to see a base and structure of the actual vessel. The yard is busy with workers building what will be one of the most anticipated new cruise ships ever. Let’s a take a look at the photos below:

About The Virgin Cruise Ship

If you’re a cruise addict like us then you probably already know that the yet to be named ship will be for adults only. Once completed in 2020 it will be 110,000 gross tons and have a passenger capacity of 2,700 along with 1,150 happy crew members. The new class cruise ship will bae based out of PortMiami and sail week-long Caribbean cruises.

The cruise line which is based in based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has already revealed some onboard features including a VIP Deck, Athletic Spaces and a wide range of trendy spaces for guests to eat, drink and chill. You can take a look at the latest renderings of these spaces right here.
