Carnival Magic is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar refurbishment at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. The vessel only has 2 weeks to be transformed with new enhancements and general upgrades. Work now is well underway with entire spaces being ripped up and re-done.
The FUN 2.0 upgrades are being added which include Guy’s Burger Joint, Redfrog Bar, Blue Iguana the Alchemy Bar and tons more. Carnival Magic will also get Pizzeria del Capitano, an Italian styled dining venue. The ship is also getting new carpeting, chairs and a lot more. The exterior of the ship will look brand new with fresh new paint and improvements.

You can also see previous photos when the ship first began its refurbishment days ago. Once the dry dock is complete the Carnival Magic will continue sailing Caribbean cruises from Galveston, Texas on March 6. The Dream class ship is receiving the upgrade in preparation for its new deployment out of Port Canaveral. The 130,000 gross ton ship will begin sailing year round out of Port Canaveral, Florida from April 23, 2016.
