Carnival Ships With Delayed Return to Service

2021 is proving to become a very fluid year with many changes to ship deployments, return dates, and procedures. In the latest update from Carnival this morning, three vessels not return as planned and will instead wait until after work has been completing during dry docks. Here are the changes:

  • Carnival Magic – All departures are now cancelled for the Dream-class cruise ship through September 24, 2021
  • Carnival Paradise – All departures cancelled through May 31, 2021
  • Carnival Valor – All departures cancelled through September 11, 2021

Impacted guests are being contacted by the cruise line about their options which includes a full refund or a Future Cruise Credit along with onboard credit depending on the length of the cruise.

We already knew the cruise ships would not be sailing on the initial restart in March 2021 along with the Carnival Radiance which is still set to undergo a huge makeover in Cadiz, Spain.

Carnival Remains on Hold

The Miami-based cruise line has remained on hold since March and at the moment is going through the road map put out by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention on a safe return to service.
