Major Cruise Lines in Europe Set to Restart Operations

It's looking brighter for these major cruise lines in Europe as operations are expected to restart very soon.

MSC Cruises has released a new video that shows off the cruise line’s upcoming MSC Seaside.

Before we explain the video we must say that the ship looks stunning and shows of a brand new design. MSC Seaside is a new generation cruise ship and is currently being built-in Monfalcone, Italy by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and once completed will be 154,000 gross tons. 4,140 passengers will be able to enjoy all the very latest onboard features that the new class will have on offer.

The new video posted by MSC Cruises just reminds us all at just how futuristic the vessel looks. Just about every viewing angle is made in the video showing the MSC Seasides sleek modern look. The cruise line has not yet revealed many specific details but this video is backed up with some exciting new offerings to come.

What we do know is that the innovative ship will feature Duelling High-Speed Aquatubes. Guests can be thrilled as they can race against others through a combined 525 feet of twists, turns and drops, on slides that partially extend over the side of the ship and give riders a quick look at the sea below. The Aquatubes will be part of a large Aqua park area that will also entertain kids with water sprays and buckets. The outdoor area will also feature an Adventure Trail with rope bridges, climbing towers, slides and crawl-throughs.

The ship will feature cluster cabins for families and groups, luxury suites with private jacuzzis and hanging gardens. MSC Seaside will also boast an enhanced MSC Yacht Club with private solarium, lounge and pool. The public spaces of the ship will feature breathtaking views with a two-deck glass-walled atrium and panoramic exterior lifts.

The privately owned cruise company has also revealed that once completed the MSC Seaside will sail across the Atlantic to begin sailing from PortMiami on year-round Caribbean cruises. The port will also hold MSC Cruises very first cruise ship christening in North America and will help the cruise line continue its American expansion. A newly upgraded and dedicated cruise terminal will be ready by the time the new ship arrives in Miami, Florida.

The MSC Seaside will be completed in November 2017 and is the first of two Seaside class ships that have been ordered. The second ship will arrive a year later and that’s not to mention all the other large cruise ships that are on order by MSC Cruises! More details will be revealed about the new class vessel over the next year.
