While most cruise lines are merely trying to survive to the next day, not so for MSC Cruises. The European Cruise Line is sailing in Europe on regular voyages and is planning to launch more ships to sail in the Mediterranean in the meantime.

MSC Cruises has now also launched a new promotion. In a bid to get people back to cruising, and in the meantime, let the kids out for a change, the European cruise line is offering 50% off, and Kids Sail Free on Caribbean Cruises.

The promotion is valid for the MSC Seaside, MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, and MSC Armonia on select 3, 4, and 7-day voyages to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, if booked between October 14 and October 31, 2020.

Special Deals for Kids & Healthcare workers

Kids aged 17 and under sail free when traveling with their parents in the same cruise stateroom, excluding MSC Yacht Club.

Healthcare professionals can save 50% on top of at least 50 percent off cruise fares through the promotion. This promotion is part of a promotion to give back to frontliners. The healthcare heroes’ promotion is available through April 30, 2021.

MSC Confident in safe sailings

With the announcement for the promotions, the line also had some other announcements:

โ€œWeโ€™ve seen an excitement to get back to cruising the Caribbean and The Bahamas, and with the benefit of great savings as well as increased flexibility with our successful Total CruiseFlex program, families can start planning their long-awaited vacations with comfort and confidence,โ€ said Ken Muskat, EVP and chief operating officer of MSC Cruises USA.

โ€œWe listened to our guests needs as we looked toward our 2021 cruise program, and now our guests not only have four entirely distinct ships to choose from when sailing from the U.S. to the Caribbean, but also a variety of cruise itinerary lengths to choose from and a new easily-accessible homeport, Port Canaveral, near Orlando.โ€

MSC Cruises is one of the few Cruise lines that has done several cruises since September and has successfully established new protocols and procedures. If they will be able to do the same in the U.S. remains to be seen as this all depends on the CDC’s decision at the end of this month.

Guests that are booking a voyage onboard MSC do not have to worry about the cancellation policy as MSC has established a flexible cruise program. Guests can move and re-book any voyage up to 48 hours before their voyage to any ship of their choice. The plan is valid for any voyage booked between August 5 and October 31 for any voyage between December 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021.

MSC Seaside

One of the ships sailing from the U.S. is the MSC Seaside, the revolutionary ship launched in 2017. MSC Seasideโ€™s unique, innovative beach condo design means guests can stroll along the broadest waterfront boardwalk at sea, dare to cross the glass-floor catwalks extending off the sides of the ship, and enjoy outdoor spa space.ย
