MSC Cruises Will Make Trips To Malta In 2017

The cruise liner announced that its newest ship MSC Meraviglia, which is currently under construction will make multiple voyages to Malta and other Mediterranean stops.

Malta will become the port of call for the new luxurious cruise ship. The MSC Meraviglia will set sail for its maiden voyage in June 2017, and plans to sail in the Mediterranean from June 14 till November 15 of 2017. Grace Harbor in Malta, is expecting more than 150,000 passengers to visit from June-November, all passengers expected to arrive will be aboard the cruise ship.

MSC Meraviglia will give 170 residents of Malta the opportunity to sail from Malta to Malta. The luxury vessel, once completed will be the first vessel in MSC fleet to carry the flag of Malta, but it will not be the last, as the cruise liner will register all new ships in Malta until 2020. Hamilton Travel the official representative of MSC in Malta said, they will release the price of cabins for MSC Meraviglia.

MSC Meraviglia is a 167,600 gross-ton ship with a passenger capacity of 4,500. Cruise hive previously reported on the MSC new luxury cruise ship class. The MSC Meraviglia is currently under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire, France. The vista class cruise ship will be delivered in May 2017.
