French news sources are reporting that MSC Cruises might be about to order four more large cruise ships. The cruise line could be ordering four more of the Meraviglia class ships ranging from 167,600 gross tons and carrying at least 4,500 passengers.
MSC Cruises is holding an event in Paris, France where the details are expected to be announced. The order will more than likely be with STX France at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard. The cruise line already has seven cruise ships on order all the way until 2021, and to be honest we’re really starting to lose track of all the ships MSC Cruises has ordered! If the reports are true then they will be among the worlds largest and will help expand MSC as a leading cruise line.
