MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Lirica will sail a new itinerary in the eastern Mediterranean for the Summer 2018 season.
MSC Lirica will be offering something new for guests with a new itinerary in the eastern Meditteranean. From April 6, 2018, the MSC cruise ship will homeport in Venice, Italy. The ship will sail 7-night sailings from the historic city until October 26, 2018.
Gianni Onorato, MSC Cruises’ CEO commented saying:

We have particularly seen boosted interest in the Eastern Mediterranean, with destinations such as the Greek islands and Croatia really capturing the imagination of travellers. This is why – as MSC Cruises is the leading brand when it comes to Europe and the Mediterranean – we are pleased to announce that as of today, guests are able to book cruises on MSC Lirica, offering an exciting itinerary that we have never offered before. This means that our guests will now have the greatest choice of summer cruises in the region in the always popular East Mediterranean, with a total of four ships in the region – now including MSC Lirica.”
Port of calls for the new itinerary will include Mykonos, Greece; Heraklion/Crete, Greece; Corfù, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia and Bari, Italy.

MSC Lirica is 65,600 gross tons and can carry over 1,500 passengers at double occupancy along with 700 crew members.
