MSC Cruise Ship Gets Damaged In Greece

It’s being reported from Greece that the MSC Magnifica has had some minor damage due to bad weather in the region. According to Cruise Critic the ship had apparently hit a mooring light while trying to dock at the Greek port of Piraeus yesterday morning. It did cause slight damage but repairs are being made in the port and there will only be a small delay to the departure. There were also no injuries to any passengers, crew or port staff.

The MSC Magnifica is currently on an 11-day Mediterranean cruise which started from the Italian port of Genoa. MSC Cruises hasn’t announced and time changes in the schedule so shouldn’t effect passengers.

If you’ve ever cruised into this port or cruised on the MSC Magnifica then feel free to post your experiences in the comments below.
