The first of the four ships will arrive in 2023 with the other three each joining the fleet over the following three years.
Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC Cruises’ Executive Chairman, said:
“It is off the back of the great success of our ship-within-a-ship luxury concept that our guests asked us to enter into the ultra-luxury segment, as a natural evolution of the MSC Yacht Club. These ships will be able to offer unique itineraries, thanks to their size, and the guest services will be taken to another level, including our personalized MSC Yacht Club butler service, available 24/7.”
No specific details have been revealed of the new ships yet as it’s still too early but we can look forward to renderings, first construction photos, ship names, and itinerary details, do keep checking Cruise Hive for all those details in the future.
MSC Cruises has detailed that the new ships will be environmentally friendly using cutting-edge maritime solutions at sea. They will have a new innovative design and groundbreaking onboard features for guests to enjoy.
The MSC Yacht Club experience which is already on MSC cruise ships and proven to be very popular on new ships like MSC Meraviglia and MSC Seaside will be expanded to the luxury ships. The Yacht Club will play a major role in setting the stage for these new luxury ships.
We just can’t believe at how fast MSC Cruises is growing. Right now the cruise line will expand to 29 new ships by 2027, more than any other cruise line in the world.
