Latest Fitting Out Photos From Onboard Genting Dream

We’re less than 40 days away from Genting Dream so today readers can take a look at the latest photos from onboard the upcoming ship. Dream Cruises based in Asia will be operating the ship once it’s delivered and they posted some new photos on their Facebook Page.

The purpose-built ship for China is in the very final stages of construction where the fitting out phase of the interior spaces is coming to an end. The ship is at the shipyard in Eemshaven after it completed the River Ems Conveyance just two weeks ago from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

Genting Dream will be handed over from the shipyard to the Dream cruises on October 12, 2016. The ship will then begin a new journey towards Asia which is where it will be based. Genting Dream will arrive at its new home port in Guangzhou, China to offer a luxury cruise experience for the Chinese market. The ship will also be based out of Hong Kong where cruisers have more options to visit Asian destinations.

Genting Dream is a 151,300 gross ton ship and once it begins service will be carrying 3,352 passengers at double occupancy along with 2,000 crew members. An identical sister ship named World Dream will be entering service in November 2017. Readers can also enjoy watching highlights of the ships recent Ems River Conveyance.
