Latest Construction Photos of Carnival Vista

Carnival Cruise Line has released some new construction photos of Carnival Vista. The cruise lines largest ever cruise ship is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The ship recently moved to wet dock in preparation for the final build stages.

The latest construction images from Carnival show 1,986 staterooms being installed one by one including balcony staterooms, spa cabins and deluxe ocean view staterooms. It looks like a long process but once complete the Carnival Vista will show off the best staterooms in the fleet.

The 133,000 gross ton Carnival Vista will bring several new features to the cruise line including a new SkyRide, a feature located at the top of the ship suspended above the sports area. Also the oceans first ever IMAX theater where passengers can enjoy the latest movies enjoying traditional movie popcorn and snacks.

The new class Carnival cruise ship will debut on May 2016 in Europe. The ship will spend an inaugural season sailing the Mediterranean and will then sail from Miami, Florida starting in November 2016.

The cruise line also recently posted a new behind the scenes video of the ship’s dining venues from the shipyard in Italy.
