Just Released Updates From Onboard Carnival Vista

Senior Cruise Director and Brand Ambassador for Carnival Cruise Lines has just released a ton of photos and video from onboard the Carnival Vista. John Heald was aboard the new class ship at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste, Italy.

During John Heald’s visit to the upcoming vessel we got an update on how the ship was coming along. In Johns words, “Italy is the most gorgeous country in the world with some of the most wonderful people whose talents are building your Carnival Vista and I cant wait to show you more” indeed he did shows us more including the IMAX Theater, the stunning Atrium and even a first real look inside one of the Havana Cabins!

Sit back and relax as we guide you through several of his facebook posts which were posted just hours ago:

Here is the Carnival Vista atrium and as you can see the main feature is based in the middle. It’s created by Technomedia and is several decks high with LED screens that can change. The screens offer a creative look that can also change the atrium atmosphere.

Here are some photos of Carnival Vista’s Liquid Lounge and the main lobby elevators. The Liquid Lounge will be the place to be for all the nightly shows and main events. The elevators are where passengers will be waiting to get to those shows and also an area where guests will always be strolling through.

The Piano Bar 88 and The Library Bar are coming along nicely and should be looking in perfect shape ready for sailing in around two weeks.

This is going to be our favorite location onboard the Carnival Vista. John gives us a look from inside the first IMAX Theater at sea. John also mentions that the huge IMAX screen will be installed today, very exciting to see these innovative spaces come to life. We love the red neon lights on the walls.

For the first time ever we get a inside look at one of the Havana staterooms. The staterooms includes a patio area with its very own hammock. John takes a look around and we catch the nice flat TV screen along with 3 power sockets and 2 USB sockets directly under the TV.

These are just a few highlights of what John Heald posted on his facebook page today. Standby for more updates as Carnival Vista is very close to being completed. The 133,500 gross ton vessel will sail its maiden voyage from the shipyard on May 1. Carnival Vista will spend its inaugural season sailing in the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic for cruises out of New York City beginning in November 2016.
