A hurricane and two tropical storms are currently impacting multiple Carnival cruise ship itineraries on the U.S. east and west coasts.

Carnival Cruise Line Alters Itineraries

We’re at the height of hurricane season and right now the Pacific and Atlantic are very active and impacting multiple Carnival cruise ships. Tropical Storm Jerry is forcing two ships to change Bermuda itineraries. Tropical Storm Mario and Hurricane Lorena are forcing another cruise ship to alter itinerary. Here are all the details about each Carnival cruise ship:

Carnival Breeze

The ship’s September 21 sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida will no longer be calling at Bermuda. The ship was originally scheduled to stay in Bermuda for three days during the 7-day cruise but will now be calling at San Juan, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk.

Carnival Sunshine

Carnival Sunshine’s September 22 departure from Charleston will now be calling to Princess Cays which is a private destination in the Bahamas and spend an overnight in Nassau also in the Bahamas. The ship was originally scheduled to sail to Bermuda but Tropical Storm jerry is stopping that from going ahead.

Carnival Splendor

Carnival Splendor’s September 21 departure from Long Beach, California has been altered. To keep guests and crew safe the ship will sail a reverse 7-day Mexican riviera itinerary due to Tropical Mario and Hurricane Loreno.

Carnival Elation

The Fantasy-class ship has not been altered yet but Carnival Cruise Line is monitoring the September 21 5-day departure out of Port Canaveral.

Carnival Horizon

The cruise line is also closely monitoring Carnival Horizon’s September 21 sailing out of Miami, Florida. The ship is still scheduled to sail her Southern Caribbean 8-day voyage.
