The Fantasy-class cruise ship has been beached ready for scrapping at the ship-breaking facility in Aliaga, Turkey.

Holland America Line will increase gratuities across the fleet starting from December 1, 2015.

At the moment the gratuities for interior, ocean view and verandah staterooms are at $11.50 but from December 1 it will be increased to $12.50. Gratuities are the default amount which is automatically charged to guest’s onboard account which can be changed anytime during the cruise. Those guests cruising in suites will have their gratuities increased from $12.00 to $13.50.

Passengers already booked for a voyage from December 1 will be included in the new gratuities increase. Holland America are following Norwegian Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruises, both have already increased onboard gratuities.
