Holland America Line shares its latest promotion with its guests, Holiday Gift Card, which will run from December 2-13, 2022, offering guests an added 10% bonus gift card for card purchases of $250 or more.
This promotion will be available online to guests, applicable for an emailed gift card that can be conveniently scheduled for delivery or offered instantly with personalized holiday themes and messages.
Holland America Line’s Holiday Gift Card Offer
Offering yet another great savings incentive this season, the 150-year-old Holland America Line will begin its latest promotion, Holiday Gift Card, giving guests an additional way to save by purchasing a gift card of $250 or more.
From December 2–13, 2022, this savings opportunity will provide guests with an added 10% bonus gift card incentive for all gift card purchases of at least $250, which can be applied to bookings and any pre-cruise or onboard purchases.
Available explicitly to U.S. residents, this limited-time promotion will be a convenient way to gift this holiday season, giving friends and family a future Holland America Line cruise travel experience through a holiday-themed digital gift card with a special message.
The cruise line’s digital gift cards will be available for purchase online, through its website, with options to personalize the gift-giving experience, offering guests a variety of festive holiday designs to select from.
“A gift card is a wonderful way to give a memorable experience this holiday season to someone who loves to travel, whether they are already a fan of Holland America Line or have been wanting to try our brand,” said Beth Bodensteiner, the Chief Commercial Officer of Holland America Line.
“The bonus gift card can go toward the cruise itself or enhance it with an amenity like specialty dining or a tour, and the higher the gift card, the bigger the bonus — which means there’s even more to give,” Bodensteiner added.
For added convenience, guests who take advantage of this savings bonus can simply schedule the online delivery of their gift card purchase or send it instantly for the recipient to receive in a timely fashion.
Gift cards purchased during this promotion can be applied to any of the line’s open bookings in 2022, 2023, and 2024 and can be utilized in a variety of ways, such as for qualifying pre-cruise purchases for specialty restaurants, gift shops, spa services, gratuities, shore excursions, beverages, and more.
Bonus Gift Card Details
The 10% bonus card guests will receive from utilizing the Holiday Gift Card offer can be used in multiple ways, such as for personal enjoyment or to be gifted out to someone else.

Since the promotion will be percentage-based, the amount of the bonus card will vary. For example, a $250 gift card purchase will receive a $25 bonus gift card and a $1,000 gift card will receive a $100 bonus card.
All 10% bonus gift cards received must be redeemed by December 31, 2023, after that time period, they will expire and become invalid for guest use.
Holland America Line’s bonus gift cards can be applied to a number of worldwide itineraries onboard the line’s 11 differing vessels that visit nearly 400 ports in 114 countries around the globe.
