Heavy fog today is delaying the Carnival Valor from arriving into Galveston Port as scheduled.
The Carnival Valor has been unable to arrive back into its home port for the second time in a row. According to one crew member, the ship was anchored just off the coast, at 12:47 PM the anchor was pulled back up and the ship has now been scheduled to arrive at 3:00 PM.
The late arrival will have a knock on effect with embarkation for the next scheduled cruise starting later in the day. The Carnival Valor is coming to an end of a 5-night Western Caribbean cruise which included calls in Cozumel and Progreso. The next voyage departing Galveston today is another 5-night cruise.
The 110,000 gross ton Carnival ship was also delayed due to Fog at Galveston on the last sailing which Cruise Hive previously posted. Carnival Freedom and Carnival Breeze have also been delayed by the fog in recent days.
