MSC Cruises Hurricane Irma Changes
MSC Opera – Sept 9 Sailing
Due to these extraordinary circumstances, the Port of Havana is expected to stop operations from Friday onwards, impeding MSC Opera’s turnaround operation scheduled for Saturday, 9 September.
For this reason, we have decided to extend MSC Opera’s call to Cozumel (Mexico) through Sunday, when the cruise will come to an end. Embarkation and disembarkation operations will subsequently take place in Cozumel on that day.
MSC Cruises will arrange transfers from Cozumel to Cancun Airport and back in order to allow our outward-bound guests to start their journey home and help our incoming guests reach the ship before starting their cruise.
MSC Divina – Sept 9 Sailing
MSC Divina will now head directly to Miami where she will arrive in the morning of Thursday 7 September, ahead of the Port’s likely closure on Friday, to allow guests who wish to disembark to go home. As soon as the disembarkation is completed, the ship will sail to Cozumel (Mexico), beyond Irma’s reach, allowing those guests that wish to remain on board to continue their cruise. She will then stay alongside there until it is safe for her to return to Miami.
Disney Cruise Line Hurricane Irma Changes
Disney Dream – Sept 11 Sailing
The September 11 sailing of the Disney Dream is cancelled. Refunds will automatically be processed back to the original form of payment used for the cruise booking.
Future Bahamian and Eastern Caribbean Sailings
At this time, there are no changes to other sailings on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. However, we continue to closely monitor Hurricane Irma and assess its impact on the ports of call we visit in the Caribbean and Bahamas. Updates regarding any necessary itinerary changes will be posted beginning September 12.
