Scarlet Lady will call to Havana, Cuba on select sailings when the first ship begins sailing from PortMiami, Florida in 2020. The calls in Cuba will be overnights and won’t be offered on all Caribbean itineraries. We’ll likely see what other cruise lines are offering now alternating between a regular Caribbean cruise and then another one including a call in Havana.

That’s all we know at the moment as Virgin Voyages will be releasing more details in the future and do keep checking as they are releasing ship teases constantly. We wonder what other ports of call the Scarlet Lady will be featuring!

The ship is still currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. You can see the latest construction photo right here.

Once completed she will be a total of 110, 000 gross tons and have a guest capacity of 2,700 along with 1,150 crew members. The ship will be for adults only and stay tuned t Cruise Hive because we still think the best is yet to be revealed!

The cruise line which is based in Florida also announced today that an agreement has been made with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri to build a fourth ship identical to Scarlet Lady. This now means we have four Virgin cruise ships on the way in 2020, 2021, 2022 and now 2023.
