Carnival Corporations latest cruise brand called Fathom is to spread its Social Impact shore excursions across sister cruise lines.
From November 2016 the social impact experiences will be available to guests sailing on cruise ship’s which call at Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. Guests will be able to purchase the new tours just like normal and they will be able to make a difference in the local community around Amber Cover.

Seven Carnival cruise brands call at the Amber Cove port including AIDA Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Fathom, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and P&O Cruises UK. New Social Impact excursions will also be added to other ships including “Hands-On Chocolate Experience at a Women’s Cooperative” and “Volunteer Experience at Recycled Paper & Crafts Entrepreneurship”.
Fathoms Adonia cruise ship alternates between weekly Cuba and the Dominican Republic itineraries from Port Miami, Florida. In total, there are more than 40 excursion options currently being offered to guests sailing to Amber Cove with the company’s brands. This includes traditional recreational and sight-seeing cruise excursions, such as snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing or simply a relaxing day at the beach.
