Empress of the Seas Is Ready To Begin Cruises For Royal Caribbean

Empress of the Seas has completed it’s huge multi million renovation and has arrived at its new home port in Miami, Florida. The ship is now preparing for its maiden voyage out of PortMiami on Saturday, May 28.

Royal Caribbean has spent $50 Million on making sure the ship can be the best it can. Even though Empress of the Seas is returning to the Miami based cruise line from Spanish based Pullmantur it was still needed to receive the latest features and amenities.

The 48,600 gross ton vessel will sail to the Bahamas for its first cruises including a call at Royal Caribbean private island of CoCo Cay. Empress of the Seas will then begin its regular service out of the popular cruise port on 4 and 5-night sailings. Ports include Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman and Key West.

The ship will also not miss out on the fastest internet at sea. Guests can take advantage of the VOOM service just like onboard all the other ships in the fleet. The vessel has all the signature features which you would expect for a Royal Caribbean ship as well as new pools, whirlpools and enhanced spaces.
