Independence Day for the United States is almost upon us and cruise lines have started to launch their promotions and sales.
July 4th Cruise Line Offers
July 4th is almost here and that means huge deals from many of the major cruise lines. This year is even more important due to the suspension of operations. Cruise lines need to entice people for when cruise do eventually resume and for the next two years. Now might just be the best time to save a lot for booking that dream cruise vacation!
We’ll go through each cruise line to see what they are offering and we’ll be updating the list more by the time July 4th arrives.
Carnival Cruise Line
The cruise line has launched its “Star-Spangled Savings” promotion which of course is due to July 4th, one the most important holidays of the year in the U.S. The offers are cruises from $64 per person per day, $50 of onboard credit and 1 for 1 deposit. For those in the military, a free room upgrade is also possible.
The promotion applies for select sailings through April 2023 and must be used between July 1 2020 and July 6. The onboard credit will be added to the Sail & Sign account and does depend on the length of the cruise on how much you can receive.
Celebrity Cruises
The cruise line has a lunched its “Dream BIG Sale” and it’s probably one of the most impressive out of the major cruise lines. Celebrity Cruises is offering a great incentive where all guests are eligible to receive a total of three perks which are Class Beverage package, Unlimited internet, and Prepaid Gratuities.
There is also a savings offer included in the promotion which can only be used for the 1st and 2nd guests only. There $200 worth of savings per an inside and oceanview staterooms, $400 for veranda, Concierge Class, AquaClass staterooms and even $1,000 if you’re lucky enough to book a suite.
Hurtigruten
As Hurtigruten has already resumed sailings in a limited capacity it’s worth taking a look. The cruise line has launched its “Freedom Flash Sale” offering discounts of up to 50% on select 2020 and 2021 itineraries. The cruises which can be selected even include the world’s first electric-hybrid powered ships and global destinations including Antarctica, Iceland, Norway, Alaska, and South and Central America.
The sale is running from July 1, 2020, to July 8, 2020, and you check all the details on their official web site.
MSC Cruises
The July 4th sale on MSC Cruises has been launched for cruises departing the U.S. which is good for three vessels. The cruise line is offering up to $300 of free credit per stateroom, balcony upgrade on MSC Seaside with reduced deposits, and Caribbean cruises from $159 per person.
For MSC Seaside which is departing out of Port Canaveral when cruises resume guests can take advantage of a balcony upgrade from $199 per person, shipboard credit up to $300 per stateroom depending on the room category and length of the cruise.
For MSC Meraviglia and MSC Armonia based out of Miami, Florida guests can receive cruises from $159 per person, shipboard credit of up to $300 depending on voyage length and room category.
The promotion only applies on U.S. based cruises to the Caribbean and it’s running to July 8, 2020.
Norwegian Cruise Line
NCL is also getting in on the July 4 action with some nice perks and deals. The cruise line is offering guests free pre-paid gratuities for those booking balconies and above. Guests can also choose up to 5 free offers.
The added offers which can be chosen are free open bar, free specialty dining, free, shore excursions, free Wifi, and free kids. It does depend on the length of the cruise on how many offers can be chosen. The promotion is running from July 1 to July 6, 2020, and applies on departures in 2021 and beyond. Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean has its July promotion in motion and it’s very focused on 2021 when hopefully we’ll have some normality back to the cruise industry. Right now, cruisers can take advantage of 30% off every guest, kids under 12 years old sail for free on select sailings and up to $150 off on 2021 sailings.
The promotion is currently running from July 1 to August 3, 2020, and applies on all cruises departing on or after September 16, 2020. For the discount on bookings, this will apply on sailings from January 1 to December 31, 2021, and it depends on the length of the cruise and type of cabin booked on how of a discount you can get. It starts from $25 for a 5-night voyage or less in an inside or ocean view stateroom.
The July 4 promo is running from July 1 to July 6, 2020, and applies on applicable sailings from October 3, 2020, to May 4, 2022.
Check the Terms!
Just remember to read all the terms and conditions before making your booking. It’s worth checking on any cruise line programs which provide further confidence in bookings due to the suspension of operations. Make sure you know what can be applied and what can’t be changed once the booking has gone through.
