Princess Cruises has revealed the world’s first digitally enhanced escape room experience. The new feature will debut on two new Princess cruise ships.

Get ready for the world’s first digitally enhance escape room which is coming to two new Princess cruise ships as part of the cruise line’s Discovery at Sea attraction. The first of its kind experience is called Phantom Bridge and the interactive space will test guests with puzzles, knowledge along with an immense storyline.
Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises vice president of entertainment experience, said:

The escape room will be coming to Sky Princess when she joins the fleet in October 2019 and the Enchantment Princess in Summer 2020. Both ships will be the Royal-class at 143,700 gross tons and a guest capacity of around 3,660 at double occupancy.
The new space has been developed just for Princess Cruises by Farbound, a leader in real-life game interactive experiences. The Phantom Bridge will be controlled by Mediascape, the control system that brings it all together.
The feature has over 700 different outcomes and there is a range of different activities including Uncover the clues to solve the mystery, Blends the physical with the digital with immersive effects and Families can play together!

Phantom Bridge will be located at the new Experience Center on deck 18 once both cruise ships have entered service. The activity lasts 23 minutes and can accommodate up to six people.
