The Carnival-owned Costa Cruises will celebrate this holiday season with a blend of itineraries onboard several of its fleet members for 16 differing cruises that visit the Arab Emirates, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and even South America.
Guests can spend Christmas and New Year cruising with the line as it offers special events and entertainment options for its guests, such as themed parties and shows onboard, including a seasonal favorite, Santa Claus.
Holiday Cruise Highlights with Costa
Beginning this month, Costa Cruises will be delivering unforgettable holiday experiences to its guests in the form of 16 cruises that sail vacationers to unique destinations from Dubai, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi to experience Christmas in the Mediterranean.
This year’s cruise lineup for the holiday season will feature special additions, such as brightly decorated ships and traditional foods, while additionally providing guests the option to include the “flight+cruise” package, offering extra convenience without the need for transfers.
The cruise line’s Christmas and New Years sailings will gift guests with special programming, including live shows, themed music, and parties that will ensure guests have an unforgettable holiday at sea.

On Christmas cruises this year, Santa Claus will make a noteworthy guest appearance, while children have the opportunity to send their letters or pictures directly from the ship as the honorary guest waits for them under the tree with presents.
In celebration of New Year’s Eve, the Carnival-owned line will host a poolside party until dawn with a themed dining menu to feature traditional and signature dishes onboard.
Celebratory Itinerary Options
This Christmas, the 182,700 gross ton Costa Toscana will sail on Christmas Eve, December 24, for a weeklong itinerary between the United Arab Emirates and Oman that gives guests ample time to discover the scenery of Dubai, Muscat, and Abu Dhabi.
Departing on New Year’s Eve, December 31, the same ship will cruise another weeklong itinerary offering an overnight stay in Dubai, celebrating the holiday in the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, additionally visiting Muscat and Abu Dhabi.
The 3,780-guest Costa Fascinosa will embark on December 23 or 30 from Guadeloupe, offering two one-week itineraries that visit the Lesser Antilles; while the Christmas itinerary visits Bonaire, Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia, Barbados, and Martinique, and the New Year’s sailing stops in Trinidad, Grenada, Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia, and Martinique.
Additionally, visiting the Caribbean islands this season, the 2,930-guest Costa Pacifica will offer a ten- and an 11-day itinerary from La Romana on both December 18 and 28, featuring different ports of call.
The Christmas cruise onboard Costa Pacifica will visit Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Cayman Islands, Amber Cove, Samana, and Catalina Island; while the New Year’s sailing makes stops in Curacao, Aruba, Trinidad, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Guadeloupe, Antigua, and British Virgin Islands.

Costa Smeralda will take guests to the Mediterranean on December 24 and 31 on itineraries that embark from Savona with stops in Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, and Civitavecchia; while the 92,700 gross ton Costa Deliziosa departs on weekly cruises in the eastern Mediterranean with departures from Trieste on Friday, December 23 and 30 visiting Split, Kotor, Katakolon, Athens, and Bari.
Three of the line’s ships, Costa Firenze, Costa Fortuna, and the 114,500 gross ton Costa Favolosa, will cruise to Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay for Christmas and New Year, giving guests the opportunity to make memories of a lifetime this holiday season.
