Holland America Line is featuring Chocolate Parades across the fleet where guests can try and indulge while being entertained.
Holland America is replacing the traditional Chocolate buffet event throughout the fleet and replacing it will “Chocolate Surprise”, new way guests can enjoy and not wait in line. Public areas of the ship will be attended by crew members with trays of bite-sized confection as passengers enjoy their time onboard.
Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line, said:
“Guests love our culinary events, particularly those featuring chocolate, and we wanted to create something special that enhances their evening activities.” “It’s all about making the most of our exceptional service, and the Chocolate Surprise delights guests in a most delicious and memorable way.”
The event will take place after dinner on the last gala evening of each cruise and waiters will provide an opportunity for guests choose a wide range of bite-sized desserts including chocolate cones with lemon curd, bittersweet chocolate and butter cream; double chocolate cupcakes; dark chocolate hazelnut pops; milk chocolate raspberry tarts; chocolate macaroons with Grand Marnier; chocolate-dipped marshmallows and caramel puffed rice treats with chocolate sauce.
The new Chocolate Surprise parade is on all Holland America cruise ships now.
