Child Falls From Carnival Cruise Ship Balcony to Deck Below

A 3-year-old girl has been airlifted after falling from a Carnival cruise ship balcony.

A girl who is just 3 years old has been airlifted after falling from a balcony on the Carnival Breeze, a cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. The accident happened when the vessel was sailing back towards its home port of Galveston Texas on Friday afternoon.

The girl fell from the stateroom balcony to the public deck below. No other details are known or how it happened, The girl was airlifted by the U.S. Coast Guard in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Coast Guard has stated that the girl received possible injuries to her face and taken to a Hospital in Tampa, Florida. We do hope she is ok and makes a full recovery.

Carnival Breeze was coming to the end of a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise which is scheduled to arrive back in Galveston, Texas on Sunday, August 6. The ship is among the largest in the fleet at 130,000 gross tons and carrying over 3,600 passengers at double occupancy.
